Simon Burt’s photography ranges from advertising to documentary-style wedding photography as well as editorial assignments for UK national papers and magazines.
He is equally comfortable hanging from the 20-metre mast of an ocean-going sailing boat as putting on a dry suit to shoot under water or dressing up to shoot a wedding. He works entirely with high resolution Canon digital cameras.
An image of the Eden Project published in one of the UK nationals inspired officials at the Union Bank of Switzerland to commission Simon to shoot an ad campaign image that was used across two pages in all the UK quality newspapers. Simon was named Canon Photojournalist of the Year 2002 in the British Environmental and Media Awards.
Based in Truro, Simon has a central location in Cornwall close to the main A30. He is well placed to cover assignments in the Westcountry. |
